In medical aesthetics, filler application is a procedure performed on certain areas of the skin for aesthetic purposes such as wrinkle correction, volume loss removal or contour adjustment. This application aims to provide a feeling of fullness and youth on the face while helping to correct fine lines, wrinkles and facial contours.

One of the most preferred methods in medical aesthetics is filling applications. It is used in many areas from removing fine lines and wrinkles on the face to making the cheekbones clearer, giving volume to the lips, recovering sagging on the face.

In our clinic, we do not prefer permanent fillers, but prefer hyaluronic acid-based fillers with a durability of 8-18 months. This time varies depending on the content of the filling, its density and where it is injected, the structure of the person.

These substances, when injected under the skin, create volume under the dermis, making the skin look fuller and younger. Anesthetic cream is applied to the application area before this procedure, which lasts only between 15-45 minutes.

After application, temporary side effects such as slight swelling, redness, or bruising may occur. But usually, these side effects resolve within a few days. Then you can immediately return to social life.

Wrinkles and fine lines are reduced with the filling application; volume is added to the cheeks or lips, facial features are made clearer, the contour is adjusted; a feeling of youth and vitality is provided to the skin.

Do fillings cause allergies?

The most important feature of the hyaluronic acid filler we use is that it is found naturally in our bodies. Therefore, the risk of causing an allergic reaction is very rare. If the result is not satisfied, it can be dissolved instantly with a substance called hyalinase.

It is recommended to avoid excessive exercise for the first 3 days after the application and not to enter the hammam and sauna for the first two weeks.
