PRP

PRP, which consists of platelets, growth factors, cytokines and other plasma proteins derived from a personals own blood, contains proteins called platelet cell growth factors that enable cell regeneration, tissue healing.

It is used in many fields such as wound healing, hair loss, scar treatment, anti-aging.

Before PRP treatment, the patient should definitely be evaluated by a doctor, blood thinners, infectious , autoimmune or platelet-causing diseases should be questioned in terms of.

In the first step in the preparation of PRP, venous blood is taken from the patient and placed in special tubes. When the blood is centrifuged, it is divided into three parts. The lower part consists of erythrocytes. At the top, the plasma decomposes. In the middle, there is a platelet- and leukocyte-rich part that we call the ’buffy coat'. It is aimed to have at least 1 million platelets per 5ml in a good PRP.

2-4 sessions can be performed so that the application is 2-4 weeks.

Due to the fact that it contains PRP growth factor, it is a safe method in terms of avoiding allergic reactions and possibly infectious diseases due to the fact that it is from a person's blood. It is easy and fast to prepare.

PRP is often used in skin rejuvenation treatments. Growth factors and other biological substances contained in platelets increase the regeneration and elasticity of the skin. The application of PRP on the skin helps to reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone, and rejuvenate in general.

Hair Loss; PRP therapy is used to treat hair loss. Growth factors in platelets stimulate the hair follicles, ensuring hair growth, improving hair quality and reducing hair loss.

It is used to speed up wound healing. Growth factors in platelets promote tissue repair, stimulate the formation of new blood vessels and accelerate wound healing. Therefore, it is used to support the healing process of wounds such as burns, ulcers or surgical incisions. It is helpful in the treatment of joint problems, reduces joint pain, increases joint mobility and accelerates healing.
